Saturday, Kelly came down to my house to meet me so that we could head off to Kristen’s bridal shower at her mom’s house. Everything was so nice and her mom is like a chef. The food was fantastic and the company great. Kristen looked so pretty and happy. I cannot wait until the wedding in September.

After the shower, Kelly came back here for a little bit and then Geof and I stayed in and relaxed the rest of the night. We ended up watching All About Steve OnDemand. Now I see why it won a few razzie awards. Even with Sandra Bullock and Bradley Cooper, I thought it was a horrible movie.
Sunday, I got up early and took the dogs for a nice long walk. I decided to stay unplugged all day with minimal phone and no computer. It definitely did me good. I watched Purple Rain (love Prince, love this movie), Romy & Michele’s High School Reunion and caught up on So You Think You Can Dance. I also snuck in a late afternoon nap. It was such a lazy day and I needed it.
Sounds like a wonderful, lazy weekend! We all need those from time to time! And that cupcake....yum, I'm drooling over here!

ReplyDeleteAll about steve WAS horrible wasn't it?? I had high hopes before I watched it and even though lovely Bradley Cooper was in it...it was hard not to shut it off halfway through!
