That’s right. Tomorrow morning Geof and I leave for Hawaii! I cannot wait. I’m sorry I haven’t been around much this week. Everything has been so hectic trying to get ready and packed. I have a feeling that my suitcase exceeds 50 lbs and we’ll be paying extra. I’m known for being an overpacker. I’ve never been on a flight as long as this one, so I brought lots to keep me occupied. I have my iPod, books, magazines and my Nintendo DS. I wish I was one of those people that could sleep on a plane, but I’m not.
Monday, I was able to sneak in a manicure and pedicure. The shade I went with is called, “Second Honeymoon” by OPI and it’s perfect considering that’s what this trip will be like for us. Our first anniversary is coming up and we’ll be celebrating early while we’re away. When we get back we can enjoy our cake and some champagne! I say enjoy loosely for the cake considering it will be a year old.

On a final note, Jen from Peachy King’s held a giveaway for a customized badge reel from Lauren Nicole Gifts. Jen decided that everyone that entered was a winner (so sweet) and it arrived the other day. I love it and cannot wait to start using this at the office.

I’m going to try and post while I’m away about the trip and keep up with you ladies too. Everything should be back to normal once I get home. Have a great weekend and week ahead!

I am the world's worst over-packer and I have had to pay the fee for my giant suitcase being over 50 pounds (not fun)! Hopefully yours will not be.
I also cannot wait to hear how the year-old cake is when you return. No one I know has ever eaten their cake, but I am totally going to when I get married!

Have such a wonderful time!! I've only been to Hawaii once--my parents took my brother and I there for a "second honeymoon" vacation when I was about 10, since thats where they went on their own honeymoon. However, they were having a drought, so everything was brown, and then the whole week we were there it rained! Everyone living there was thrilled bc they needed the rain...us, not so much. lol. So you better show us lots of photos so I can see what it normally looks like!! :)
