Pink & Green Thursday

Welcome to another edition of Pink & Green Thursday hosted by Trish at Pink Preppy Lilly Lover. If you have not been to her blog, you will not be disappointed. The posts she puts together are beautiful and make me forget about reality for a little while.

First up, remember this Pink & Green Thursday post? Lis spotted this and delivered. She sent this adorable market tote to me with my monogram for my birthday. I’ve been meaning to post about it and though it would fit perfectly into the Pink & Green Thursday theme.

These napkins are something I also originally saw on Lis’ blog. I finally spotted them at Pier 1 Imports and got a set for myself.

How great would these napkins be with a Lilly Key Lime Mojito? There is still plenty of summer left to enjoy one of these cocktails.

The Stella & Dot Fall collection has been released and I’m really loving these Ladybug Stud Earrings. They’re so ladylike and pretty.

It is definitely time to start getting organized and I really need to get myself one of these pretty Lilly Pulitzer 18-month planners. Now, if I could only decide between these two patterns...

I fell in love with the turquoise top that Ali wore on The Bachelorette when Frank ended things. I found it, but it was sold out in that color. Planet Blue does have this pretty pink one though. I think this would look great with some white shorts and sandals. You could do your swimsuit underneath or a tank top/cami.

Pink & Green Thursday

Please head over to Trish’s blog who is kind enough to host Pink & Green Thursday. Play along if you like!

I also wanted to apologize for being absent from the blog world all week. The 2nd job I’ve been working is really kicking my butt and hasn’t left me with a lot of spare time, especially during the week. A lot of my personal priorities are getting put on the backburner for the time being and that needs to change.

Okay enough of that, onto Pink & Green Thursday! This week I've decided to go with a travel and tote it theme. Since it’s officially summer, many of us are heading to the beach, going on vacation, visiting family, etc. I thought I would highlight some preppy finds for traveling in style.

Ame & Lulu has some of the cutest designs and this weekend duffel would be perfect for a few days away

These personalized bikini bags from Basement Bags are too adorable and are perfect for keeping everything else in your beach bag dry

I can attest for the fact that Scout bags are awesome. They’re so versatile and can be used for just about anything. I think that either of these Deano totes from Preppy in Paradise would make a great beach bag or all around summer tote.

What travel bag is complete without a preppy luggage tag? I ordered one of these myself from Preppy Paper Girl and they’re adorable.

Keep those toiletries separate from everything else in style with this A. Tierney toiletry bag. I’d add my monogram to it and make it extra special.

Last but not least is this darling market tote from Whitney Caroline Designs. I’d add a hot pink monogram and make it mine. This is actually on my birthday list this year. I think it would be great for toting snacks to the pool, bringing on a picnic to a local vineyard or for just keeping things organized in my car.

Pink and Green Thursday

Time for another installment of Pink & Green Thursday hosted by Trish at Pink Preppy Lilly Lover. She is also hosting a fabulous Lilly giveaway right now. Please head over and enter!

My theme today is Pink & Green beach living. Now that summer has arrived, I’m dreaming of days spent by the ocean. I would give just about anything to have my very own cottage by the beach someday and have it decorated something like this. I saw these images last summer in Coastal Living and fell in love.

In the June issue of Better Homes & Gardens, I saw the beach cottage of author Mary Kay Andrews on Tybee Island in Georgia aptly named Breeze Inn Cottage. Her place is actually available for rental. I think I’d go to Tybee Island just to stay in this house.
