I received a sample of facial primer from Sephora with my last order because I had wanted to try it. I’d always passed it off as another beauty item that wasn’t necessary and felt that I had no use for it. This stuff is a miracle product! I may be finding this out way late, but I had no idea how flawless it makes your complexion look. It evened everything out and made my skin look so fresh. This is definitely not something I would use everyday, but certainly for a night out or an event.
I went on Sephora’s website and the sample they sent, they don’t sell (which makes no sense). I googled and found it here. My question is; do any of you use primer and if so, what brand would you recommend? I need a full-size bottle of this little gem and fast!

i use a neautrogena face lotion that is supposed to be used as a primer for make-up. it's oil free and good for your skin.. and cheap. i would definitely recommend it. While this lotion/primer doesn't even out your skin because it is colorless, it makes your skin feel soft and even so your make up will go on perfectly
MAC has a good primer too.
I felt the same way as you about primer. I tried some once and didn't feel it helped, but maybe it just wasn't a good one.
Avon has a good product called magix face perfector. I really like it and it is something you can afford to use everyday.
I use Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer Light. ;-)
I use Bare Minerals Prime Time. It's wonderful! Sometimes I use it even on a non makeup day because it makes your skin feel so soft.
I second the Bare Minerals Prime Time. Makes a HUGE difference on my skin. I don't use it every day either, but when I do, WOW!
I also use Prime Time by BM. It makes my skin feel so soft.
I use the Smashbox primer. Sephora sells it. I love it!
I have used BM's primer and a Sephora brand and I liked both!
I've never tried one but after hearing all about them I think I should!!

We don't use one Miss C&P... or should that read "We don' use one yet"? But we've used Lancome's eye makeup primer and like it, the only issue is that it is pretty heavy.

Bare Minerals primer is great!
My favorites are the primers by Smashbox and NARS. The NARS one is more like a lotion but the Smashbox one glides on like this amazing satin-like gel. When I did make-up professionally the Smashbox primer was known as the best in the industry.
Ive never used primer...If you try some out though..let me know what you think!
I love makeup primer! I use it for special occasions!
I haven't tried primer :( But after my bare minerals post I am considering ordering from of the Bare Minerals primer - I hear it's great.
And what the heck is up with Sephora sending you samples of something they don't sell - how silly is that?!
I have never used primer, probably because I am too lazy, haha.
I use Estee Lauder Idealist, but now I want to try this one that you used!
I just recently started using Strobe by MAC and love it.
I don't use primer but I've been thinking about it. Maybe it's time!
