I’m back!

Sorry for the prolonged bloggy break. Last weekend I caught bronchitis and took some time to get better. I thought I had the swine flu and can’t remember the last time I felt so ill. The doctor gave me a “Z pack” (which I think is the miracle antibiotic) and was feeling better towards the end of this past week. Work has also had me bogged down and I’m finally feeling back to myself. I worked virtually every free hour of this past weekend. Not fun.

I also missed my 1st Blogaversary while I was away and had a giveaway planned for it. I will try and do that later this week.

Here are some of the fun things I snuck in while I was away.

1. Got to see the Phillies and Dodgers play in the NLCS Game 5. The Phillies won, sending them to the World Series. It was so exciting to be at the park for the win and see the celebration.

2. Went to World Series Game 3 to see the Phillies and the Yankees. The Phillies had a terrible loss and it was a depressing game to say the least. I’ve never been to any World Series game, so I’m glad that I was at least able to go and thank Geof for getting us the tickets. It looks like the Yankees are going to win this thing. After tonight’s loss, I don’t think I can watch anymore.

3. The night I started feeling sick, I went to see Saw VI with a big group of friends. I don’t know how many more of these movies they’re going to churn out, but I’m a sucker and keep going to see them. It actually had an interesting plot and wasn’t bad if you can handle the gore. It was also relevant to all of the health insurance issues our country is facing right now.

4. I went out with my girlfriends Halloween Eve to The Deck. It is always fun to see the costumes that people come up with.

How have all my friends been?

I wondered where you had been! I'm glad that you're feeling better. I hate being sick, so I know how bad it must have been. And, I agree Z-Packs are amazing.

How fun to get to go to a World Series game! That is definitely something that I'd love to do someday. You and Geof are so cute in your picture.

I love you and your friends' costumes as well. You all look adorable and I hope you had a great Halloween Eve!

Hope that you have a great week!

I was wondering where you went! Z-paks are the best and I'm glad you're feeling better!

I would LOVE to go to a World Series Game (just not game 1, that was brutal for us). I was thinking of you when watching the games. You obviously know I am rooting for the Yanks! I hope this is our year! My FIL is a Phillies fan, so whoever's team wins the World Series get dinner bought for them by the fans of the losing team! I want dinner bought for me hahaha!

Oh man - so sorry you were sick! I had the same thing and thought I was going to die...seriously! Those z-packs really are amazing!! That's so awesome that you went to a World Series game!! I am too scared to see Saw, but only because it's so gruesome...I can't handle the gore. I stopped seeing them after Saw 3 I think! Lastly, your Halloween costume looks so cute - I'm glad you could go out and have some fun!!!! Oh my gosh, and how could I forget to thank you for my surprise package!! I got it when I was so sick and it really brightened my day! So thank you so much!!! xoxo

I'm glad you're feeling better and sorry you were sick. I agree that z-pack is the greatest invention of all time. That's amazing that you were able to watch a world series game! That's one of those things on the life's "to do" list!

Girl I am so glad you are okay. I was so worried about you and have missed you tons!!!

I love your costume and I'm so glad you got to go to the games even though you were under the weather.

I don't see how you watch the Saw movies. I love super natural horror movies but the gore just makes my stomach turn.

Glad to have you back!!! XOXO
