Night with the ladies

I feel like I haven’t spent anytime with my girlfriends in forever. It was long overdue. Last night I had the opportunity to meet up with the ladies at one of my favorite restaurants in the city, Jones.

Krystie, me, Melissa, Deidre

This place has some of the best food and it’s basically all classy comfort food. You can order things like baked mac ‘n cheese as an appetizer (we got this), entrees like “Thanksgiving Dinner” complete with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy and desserts like Dunkin Hines Chocolate Layer Cake served with a glass of cold milk. I went with the classic Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup. It is like no other grilled cheese/tomato soup combo that I’ve ever had. They also have a fantastic brunch during the weekend and the restaurant is styled like something out of the Brady house and has such a cozy feel to it.

Grilled cheese and tomato soup

It was great to catch up with the ladies and see what everyone has been up to. Our friend Krystie is pregnant and due in May and Deidre recently got engaged and has been planning her wedding. I remember when Melissa and I were engaged and they were so happy for us. It’s great to see that we all support each other and I’m lucky to have such wonderful friends.

Jones

I love the retro phot they have in the bar area

Hi! This restaurant looks amazing!!! I LOVE comfort food and tomato soup with grilled cheese is one of my all time favorites! And Thanksgiving dinner not at Thanksgiving is always tasty! Don't you just love having a group of good girlfriends?! You're so blessed to have such good friends :) I hope you have a great weekend! Try to stay warm. It just started raining here in California and the temps have dropped to the low 60's...yikes :) xoxo

Jones is SO much fun! Last time I went, I got the waffles and fried chicken and a purple people eater drink (pre-21). It was so good though! Love it there.
