Weekend recap

Friday, we took my mom out to dinner to celebrate her birthday. We gave her a choice and she wanted Don Pablo’s. I’m definitely her daughter because I love that place. We always offer up something fancy, but she goes for nice and easy.

OOTN for dinner with the fam!

My sockbun obsession

Saturday, we had skating and then Geof and I went out to see Paranormal Activity 3. It was really scary and got me the worst of all of them. I’d be lying if I said my mind wasn’t reeling with scary thoughts before I went to sleep that night.

Sunday, we ran some errands and then our friends Kristen and Sean came over. We headed over to Brit and Mike’s house for a delicious spaghetti dinner and some sweet treats (Kristen whipped up the best pumpkin cupcakes). After dinner, we headed out to Bates Motel. We survived the hayride, corn maze and haunted house. I didn’t even freak out when the chainsaw guy came after us (a first for me!). The whole night was a blast with good friends and good times.

Monday I took the day off and did some shopping with my mom. I’ll have to share some of my finds later in the week. I also painted my nails with the shade Cool Couture from Maybelline. It’s a great blue for fall and winter.

I recently went to a haunted house and didn't scream when the chainsaw guy came running. First for me too!

I think I need a tutorial on this sock bun! It would be perfect for Ellie to do. :) I love the greens/blues for winter. I'm still wearing gray and I can't seem to take it off. I'm in love with it! I really want to see Paranormal Activity but I haven't seen the first two. Maybe I should rent them and watch them soon. :)

Love you girl!

Yay! Happy birthday to your mom! Glad you all got to spend some time together :)

And glad you had fun this weekend at Bates Motel. That sounds like the perfect Halloween festivity!!

I'm so mad. I tried to add Paranormal Activity to my Netfix queue and apparently my account doesn't allow me to rent it? What is that?!

i LOVE LOVE LOVE your outfit! Those shoes are the cutest!

I also love your sockbun :) I did that tutorial a few weeks ago and thought that I should just keep it in the bun instead of using it to get curls. It's so cute!

Chris wants to see PA3, but I'm not sure. The first one scared the crap out of me and I spent months trying to figure out if it was "real" or not. Yes, I'm very gulliable.

I'm glad you had a fun weekend!

Cute outfit! I love the shoes, I am a sucker for anything with a bow on it!

I can't watch scary movies, never could. Now with a baby, I barely sleep as it is, I don't need a scary movie taking away the rest of my sleep lol.

Love that nail polish color!
