Cult beauty favorites

People StyleWatch is the one magazine that I read cover to cover each month. I even rip out the pages when I’m done of things to add to the lust list as well as good beauty tips and tricks. The August issue featured a page on “Cult Classics” of beauty product favorites under $10. I had to scan and post this, because some of these items are staples in my house and others are some things that I would like to try.

I love Smith’s Rosebud Salve and apply this each night before bed. It really hydrates my lips and is so soothing. It has been around forever and has many uses. I also love Essie nail polish in Ballet Slippers. It is such a classic color that goes with everything.

Have you tried any of these items?

I love the light pink nail polish... it seems like a good color that wouldn't be extremely awful if it chipped a little bit!

They are so smart to do things emphasizing value, that is what so many people want to see right now. And Essie polish... wonderful, just such great colors!

Hope your weekend is excellent Miss C&P!

Dr. Bronner's Peppermint soap rocks! I've used it since I was a kid. My mom, quite the hippie in her time, bought it in bulk.

I love this magazine too! I think I've tried all of these except the peppermint soap. The rosebud salve, essie polish, and hairspray are definitely my faves. The hairspray has only recently become available in the US...Target carries it now.

I love and have used the Coty air spun powder since I first started wearing make up. The smell reminds me of my mom and it works great with my oily skin.
