I know that I’m all about the pink, but when it comes to decorating, I love some blue! I have wanted to change our bedroom for awhile and haven’t had the inspiration to do it until now. We don’t have the biggest bedroom, but I still think it’s a place that should be cozy and peaceful. Long story short, when we moved into our town home it was a mess and therefore we got a great deal. With that mess came along cosmetic changes that needed to be made like getting new carpets, flooring, paint and making minor repairs. Let’s just say with buying a house, moving, cleaning, painting, etc. I wasn’t exactly in the right frame of mind to make major decorating decisions, so everything is pretty neutral. I am very happy with our first floor, but the bedrooms could use some help. I love the idea of using a tiffany blue and then accenting with browns and incorporating a damask pattern as well. Who knows when/if I will do this, but here is my inspiration for tonight.
1. I like the white shag carpet and the red chandelier. The chaise lounge is nice too.
2. The pattern on the wallpaper is so nice. It has a gold tone to it almost and I love the chair and headboard.
3. This beachy theme is perfect!
1. I love the 4 post bed frame and the damask pattern on the bedding. The contrast walls look so nice.
2. I just loved this wallpaper and had to post it.

Beautiful! I ♥ it!
I love the last pic best...the brown/blue! But, they are all beautiful.
Some of my favorites!!! I LOVE that wallpaper!! So chic!!!
Blue is the best! I have to keep myself from making every room in our apartment blue :0P Something about it calms me. Love the rooms!!!!
I think our house is going to turn out blue from all the blue inspiration I have in my house idea folder on the desktop. Haha.
I like the stripes on the wall in the first picture :-)
I love this color combo! It's so peaceful...perfect for a bedroom.
Oh la la! I love it too. Xoxo-BLC
Decorating is soooooo hard because you have to please two people's taste. I was all about the pink a few years ago. My friends even nicknamed me "pink girl". I eventually grew out of it and would never in my life dream about decorating my house in pink...no pink ANYWHERE in my home. I just feel its too girlie and I'm sure my husband would hate coming to sleep in a pink bedroom or to get under pink comforters.
I love neutral colors for decorating (I have a blog walk thru my house). I like browns, beiges, creams etc.
That last picture you posted, the wallpaper, OMG I love it. If I were to get preggers and find out its a boy I'd totally do my nursey like that. I was telling the hubby a few days ago that I wanted a dark chocolate color for the nursey and then accent it with other neutral tones or pastels(creams, beiges, pasticho, light blue, light pink, pale yellow)...
I love that beachy looking room as well as the blue chaise. It's a nice eye catching addition when the rest of the room is so muted.
i love four poster beds. they are so elegant. i love the bottom pictures you posted!
WOW! Jules you are right on with your amazing choices for inspiration!
They are all gorgeous.
I can't wait to see yours.

I love the blue & brown together. Blue is so calming. Mine is pink/brown right now but I've been thinking of changing it again. Heck I would just LOVE to have a bedroom big enough to really decorate!!! Hope you had a fabulous weekend!!! XOXO

Your blog has given me inspiration for the bedrooms I don't even have yet! I love them all; they're so beautiful. If my room looked that nice, I don't think I'd ever leave!
OMG, I am dying over those first sets of pictures! I am all about home decor. =)
I just love your inspiration. I think blue and brown is just perfect together and beachy and formal all at the same time!!
