My favorite address & new fall television

It was reported last fall that due to the success of the new 90210 series that they would be developing a new Melrose Place. I’ve been looking forward to this ever since I read the article and the wait is finally over. The new Melrose Place pilot lived up to my expectations. It was filled with drama, mystery and hot new characters. Katie Cassidy who plays “Ella” is already a favorite, as she reminds me of “Amanda” played by Heather Locklear in the original series. Laura Leighton reprised her role as “Sydney” and my favorite line of the whole episode was when she said to Ella, “you would still be wearing Juicy sweat suits with French tips and have a bad dye job if it wasn’t for me”. Let the claws come out!

The one character I could have done without is “Violet” played by Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. I found her distracting and awkward. Aside from that, it was great and I’m hooked. I’ll be tuning in next Tuesday for sure. I hope they keep the momentum going and it will be just as juicy as it was in my teens.

Here are some more new fall shows that I’m looking forward to:

The Vampire Diaries - with True Blood coming to an end next week, I thought that I'd give this one a shot

Flash Forward - This show seems intrigiung from the promos.

Cougar Town - This show looks really funny.

What new fall shows will you be watching?

I can't wait for the new season of SYTYCD to start tonight. I won't get to see it since I'll be at the gym though so I may have to call and get DVR before next week. I will definitely have to watch Melrose Place next week too!!! XOXO

Well, as I mentioned. I just starting up with Gossip Girl. It's new to me even if I'm the only one. Ah ha. I saw a preview for Vampire Diaries and thought it was worth a shot too. : )

I never got into the original Melrose, but after last nights premier I think I'm going to like the new series! I have no desire to watch Vampire Diaries, but the hubs does...which totally surprised me, so I'm sure I will see a few episodes. Can't wait for Glee tonight!!

i watched melrose place last night too! it was very good. the whole time i was trying to place who the guy - now i can't remember his name but the one who proposed to riley - anyway, i was trying to figure out who he looks like and then it dawned on me. he looks exactly like billy from the original one. i used to love to watch the original 90210 and melrose place back in the days when i was definitely too young to get what was going on in those steamy scenes. ps- also excited about vampire diaries, i'm a total dork and read the first 2 books.

Hmmm, just haven't found myself getting a night time schedule yet, so far I'm only addicted to Mad Men. Waiting for Grey's!
I think I should put this on my list tho. I was a true fan of the first Melrose!
