Best Dressed:
Charlize Theron in Dior Couture
This was by far my favorite gown of the night. From the blush color that suits her skin tone perfectly to the fit and style. She was stunning!
Reese Witherspoon in Zac Posen
It's no secret that Reese is one of my favorite celebs. Her style is always on point and she looks beautiful as the lady in red.
Kate Beckinsale in Roberto Cavalli
Kate is always so classy and absolutely gorgeous. My favorite part of this gown is the beautiful chiffon pleat detail at the bottom. Her jewelry and hair also fit the look perfectly.
Zooey Deschanel in Prada
I wouldn’t have liked this dress on anyone else but Zooey. The black and green combo had an almost mod feel to it, which goes so well with Zooey’s overall style. I also had to include a shot of her fantastic Tuxedo nails that she posted on Instagram.
Nicole Richie in Julien Macdonald
Nicole has come a long way with her style and the dress she wore to the awards proves that. The dress shows off her arms and back beautifully and the beading really makes it a standout.
Heidi Klum in Calvin Klein
I couldn’t post this without mentioning Heidi Klum’s turquoise necklace. That’s what I call a statement piece. It made her entire look!
Worst Dressed:
Lea Michele in Marchesa
This looks a figure skating costume gone bad.
Amanda Peet in Marc Jacobs
This dress might make for some cute shabby chic curtains
Piper Perabo in Theyskens’ Theory
This is all wrong from the color to the fact that it's see through
To end on a positive note, I had to include these cuties on the carpet!

Love, love, love Reese's dress!!! I think Claire Danes' dress was a little off-beat, but beautiful.
Piper Perabo is a great actor...but that dress is atrocious. See through and mesh (at least that's how it looked on tv) in the front middle from neckline to waist.

I actually loved Angelina Jolie's dress. The splash of red went so well with her red lipstick and it was nice to see her wear a bright color. I liked Reese's dress, when she walked out on stage I was impressed. :-)
I didn't see Heidi Klum until looking through pictures this morning and I really liked it. I either hate or love what she wears, mostly hate but not this time.
I think there were too many nude colored dresses and they washed out most of the women wearing them. It's a hard color to pull off. Also, I can't believe how many of the women can't seem to choose dresses that flatter their figures.
I thought Charlize looked AMAZING! Her dress, hair, headband and makeup were so feminine and flawless I loved it! Reese also looked stunning. Zoeys nails were super cute, but I could not stand her dress or her hair.... her hair what the heck was going on with that! xo
I agree with everything you said, except Zooey. I'm not a huge fan of her dress, but I don't think I typically like what she wears anyway. Reese basically always looks good. I also loved Sofia Vergara's dress. She's another one that I think pretty much always looks good!

I totally agree with you on this list! Charlize looked AMAZING -- as usual! Another look I really loved was Kate Winslet's. It was simple but I thought she was just so pretty in it!

Heidi Klum could wear a burlap SACK and look beautiful! It's not fair! ;) That necklace she had on was fabulous though!

I loved Jessica Alba's dress the most. It was incredible! Nicole Kidman's dress was interesting - not sure if I loved or hated it but it was made for her. Fit her body perfectly!
