Michael Jackson has passed away. I am still in shock. I didn’t think I would see this day for a very long time. When I think of music from my childhood, he is the first person that comes to mind. He was an icon and changed the way we look at music. His life was filled with many ups and downs, but I will choose to remember the positive contributions he made and he’ll be sorely missed.

I was thinking the same thing, I'm choosing to remember him from when I was a kid and people loved him.
I am still in shock!
When the hubs called and told me I was like what? Who? OMG! Michael Jackson died! I'd been watching Real Houswives NJ and DVR and missed the announement!
I know I'm in shock!!! I can't believe it!!
I still can't believe it. Brian & I just spent dinner talking about him and listening to his music. Trying to recall who would have been an equal in his time. We could only come up with Madonna and Prince and even then they just don't measure up.
:\
sad!
I'm so shocked and sad about his death and I feel bad for his kids.
not a huuge fan, but it is really sad. And I do love the video for thriller :)
My Future Mr and I are having a "tribute to Michael" night. Playing all of his songs and singing/dancing along. What a loss!
So sad :(
When I was little, my cousins and I would have dance contests to Beat It and Thriller.
His music is like the soundtrack for my childhood! I'm with you about choosing to remember the positive things.
Thriller is still one of my all time favorite songs. His music really does make me feel like a little kid again!
It's such a sad day!
I was on my way home to Northern Ireland from my sisters wedding in Florida when I saw this all over the news on the tvs at the airport.
It goes to show us that none of us know when our last day will be. Are we ready? Do we know where we will spend eternity?
I was so shocked when I heard the news too.
