We had a gorgeous weekend weather-wise and I was in an excellent mood all weekend because of it. Friday evening, hubby got Indian takeout. We had dinner at home and watched some television. It was nice and relaxing after a long work week.
Saturday, we meant to go to the pool but ended up relaxing around the house. Later in the afternoon, we had a Phillies game to attend. They played against the Washington Nationals and the Phillies won. It’s always fun to go to a game when the home team wins. Ryan Howard of the Phillies hit a grand slam and it was exciting since you don’t see that too often. During the game, hubby and I had dinner at Harry the K’s and it was delicious. I had pork tacos with refried beans and rice. I swear I could eat Mexican food everyday!
Sunday, we went to the pool. The weather was so nice and perfect for lying out. The water at the pool is still really cold, but I was brave and got in anyway to cool off. After the pool, hubby talked me into going to see a movie. We went to see Drag Me to Hell and it wasn’t terrible, but wasn’t very good either. Some of the scary parts were simply over the top and made me want to laugh. I’m not going to lie though; I did jump a few times. After the movie, we grabbed a quick pizza and headed home. We stayed up late and watched the MTV Movie Awards. The highlight for me was when they showed the trailer for New Moon. I can’t wait to see it in November!
